She has worked alongside her husband in children's ministry for seventeen years.

She lives in Missouri where she spends time with her Shihtzu, Daisy, and her cats Nala and Bacon.

Shonda loves to talk about God, enjoys writing and reading, reviewing books, and anything that has to do with history.
